Booking

A booking does not constitute the creation of a contract and Birth Boss reserves the right to decline to process a booking for any reason whatsoever. If the booking is not able to be fulfilled the teacher will promptly refund all monies.

Participant Cancellation

The fee will be repaid promptly and in full if your baby arrives before the course (if you had booked a course to commence prior to your 37th week of pregnancy), or in the very unlikely event of the course being cancelled. These are the only circumstances under which a refund will be made. 

Course Cancellation

Birth Boss reserves the right to amend or cancel any course, course times, dates or published prices. Changes to course prices, times and dates will be advised before the course start date and any course already paid in full will not be subject to any price increase.

Intellectual property

Any recording or written material included as part of this course or arising from this course and all rights worldwide (including Intellectual Property Rights) relating thereto respectively are the sole property of Birth Boss or Katharine Graves, KG Hypnobirthing Ltd, or others from whom such rights may be derived (whether or not protected by trademark and copyright laws) and may not be used other than for the personal use of the participant without obtaining prior written permission. The participant agrees not to record the course or any part thereof.

Marketing content

The participant agrees that from time to time, Birth Boss or Ellie Dunkley (founder) may film or record parts of the course for marketing, promotional or quality control purposes. By attending the course, the participant agrees and consents to being filmed or recorded for the duration of the course and agree that Ellie Dunkley of Birth Boss shall retain all intellectual Property Rights arising from any resulting media. Participants will be informed before any filming or recording takes place.

Using Birth Boss Hypnobirthing techniques is not a substitute for the advice of or the presence during birth or any part of pregnancy or labour of a qualified medical practitioner, midwife or obstetrician.  It does not represent in fact or otherwise an alternative to appropriate medical care or for professional medical advice in any way shape or form.

Any questions or doubts that you have about the use of Birth Boss Hypnobirthing by you or any third party in any part should be discussed by you with your medical caregiver and the safety of or the appropriateness of this programme to you or any third party whom you represent be confirmed with your medical caregiver prior to undertaking the programme.

THE BIRTH BOSS MEMBERSHIP TERMS

Membership

The Birth Boss Membership is an online educational membership providing evidence-informed information, practical guidance and downloadable resources to support you during pregnancy. It is intended to complement, not replace, the care provided by your healthcare professionals.

Subscription

Your Membership is provided on a rolling monthly subscription basis.

Your subscription fee will automatically renew each month unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or payment provider.

If you cancel, you will continue to have access to the Membership until the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will then end automatically, and no further payments will be taken.

Rejoining

If you choose to rejoin the Membership after cancelling, your subscription will be charged at the Membership price in place at the time you rejoin. Previous promotional or founding member prices cannot be guaranteed once a subscription has been cancelled.

Refunds

As the Membership provides immediate access to digital educational content, subscription payments are non-refundable.

Failure to cancel your subscription before your renewal date does not entitle you to a refund.

Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and remain entirely at the discretion of Birth Boss.

Medical Disclaimer

The Birth Boss Membership is for educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing contained within the Membership constitutes medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

The information provided is designed to help you better understand pregnancy, birth and maternity care, and to support informed conversations with your healthcare providers.

Any decisions relating to your pregnancy, birth or healthcare remain your responsibility and should always be made in consultation with your own appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.

If you have concerns about your own health or your baby’s wellbeing, you should seek advice from your maternity care provider without delay.

Changes to the Membership

Birth Boss reserves the right to update, amend or remove Membership content as evidence evolves or improvements are made to the Membership.

Reasonable changes to the content do not entitle members to a refund.

Access

Membership access is personal to the purchaser.

Login details must not be shared with any other individual.

Birth Boss reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where login details are shared or Membership content is distributed without permission.

Intellectual Property

All videos, audio recordings, PDFs, downloads, workbooks and other resources remain the intellectual property of Birth Boss.

Membership content is licensed for your personal use only and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, sold or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to ensure the information provided is accurate and reflects current evidence at the time of publication, evidence and guidance may change over time.

Birth Boss cannot guarantee any particular pregnancy or birth outcome and accepts no liability for decisions made based upon Membership content.

The Birth Boss Membership is designed to help members better understand the maternity system, ask informed questions, consider the available evidence and make decisions that feel right for their own circumstances. It does not tell members what decisions they should make.
